We’re you guys hunting in the u.p.? I wish we had more snowshoe’s down state. I’ve never seen one in all my time hunting.

I felt like such a noob having never hunted them before. Heck, I walked within ten feet of one and never saw him, but Jonny did.

He passed on many tips for success, so I'm anxious to go out again. Way more challenging than hunting red squirrels. I then got to watch him stalk and walk right up to one, to about 15 feet away....he knew it was there.

He was going to let me shoot it but it jumped before I got into position. He threaded a pellet through some thick brush for a perfect neck shot at about 20 yds.

Impressive shooting and hunting skills displayed by him. It was one of the best hunts I've ever been on!
