Sorry, but I feel it is irresponsible to create a request that would require many individuals to invest time and thought into in an attempt for 2 members to sort out their differences. Earlier you stated that the intent was to provide clarification for newer members.

This thread does nothing to improve either of the stated missions, and for that reason, I'm out. (Shark Tank reference)

I own both FX and Daystates and am satisfied with both...however I would take my Taipan Veteran over either one of 'em...I really would.

Yeah your right I can admit when I'm wrong I should have thought it through fx and daystate both have problems and successes as I stated before I was only doing it to help 2 members sort out their differences but I shouldn't have intervened

I've never owned a Daystate, but have shot a Red Wolf. I own a couple FX (Crown and Dreamline), and quite honestly, they shoot as well as the Daystate did. Yea, the Daystate is quite hitech compared to the FX, but for my needs, I can't justify the premium for a Daystate air rifle, so I will continue to settle on my FX. If one is better than the other is really subjective, IMHO.

I was shooting my Impact M3 the other day secure in the knowledge I had bought and was shooting the finest air rifle ever conceived. Then I pulled out my wife's new Daystate Revere to sight it in and realized how wrong I had been, this gun was so simple and easy to shoot how could anything be better. That was until I shot my new Brocock Sniper XR Laminate. The ease of shooting the Daystate with some of the cool factor of the FX. Finally the ultimate airgun, that was until I went back to the FX...... It was then I realized the best airgun is the one you have fun shooting(y)

If price is not a concern, then based on the requirements for "hunting, target shooting, tunability, and accuracy" The guns that best fit that much of a wide range of needs would be the FX Impact or the Daystate Alpha/Delta Wolf. Between those two is an electronics vs mechanical and Ford vs Chevy debate.
? Is the FX a Ford & the Daystate a Chevy, I have both only 1 Ford & 5 Chevys, if your talking about cars I would have to go with the Chevy

Which is best
Good morning @Hard2hurt223

I found your question very simple, I then went to the Poll and cast my vote. I’m not sure what some of the other Forum members read, maybe some covert, secret, hidden message that caused them to respond with such negative response, WOW.

What I read was, you ask my personal opinion which Brand of the two listed do “I” think is the best? Gosh that wasn’t that hard.

Have a wonderful day,
ThomasT

There was once published a comic strip, "There Oughta Be a Law". It illustrated the many absurdities that we see in life every day, and essentially said, there ought to be a law against this activity. I think it asked a very pertinent question. It could perhaps find application here. Just my opinion, worth absolutely nothing, kinda my point.
