FX Airguns announces new additional FX STX Liners

With all the hype and advertising about the slug barrels I thought they would be out and plentiful by now, I do see some on the Airguns of Arizona in .22 and .25 but no .30 cal 700mm for my FX Impact 30. I can not believe they have not listed a 30 slug liner yet and I sure do hope they make one.... one of the reasons I purchased the .30 was that they were going to make a 30 cal slug liner.... kind of irritates me, especially after all the hype about the slug liner and advertising about it!

Just an update for Airgun Nation members on liners:

The .22 Slug liner A is ramping up production and FX USA will be getting a large amount of liners in various lengths (500mm, 600mm, and 700mm for a new Impact 700mm .22 cal barrel) towards the end of January.

The .25 Slug liner A is being perfected by Fredrik, Johan and Matt Dubber this month and we should finally see these in February. Thanks for your patience and FX wanted to get them just right.

We'll also be restocked on Pellet Liner B option in .22 & .25 by the end of January.

The .30 Slug liner is next up to be perfected on the R&D side.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but I was under the impression that all the liners produced so far that went into the guns (22 and 25cal) with the exception of the 25cal "B" liners and a hand full of 22 Slug liners were the "A" liners. Assuming this A liner in 25cal mentioned above is not the same as what I'm shooting, what is the difference and what is being done differently to it to "perfect" it? I thought it was shooting great as it is/was and it was a A liner. Is there really a difference?

Regardless, I'm glad to see the liners and the new Dreamliners being brought out on the market.

Ok, Glemm pointed out that the slug liners are also referred to as an "A" Slug Liners, I didn't look at the liner chart close enough and distinguish all the differences, MY BAD . Which does lead me to ask.... is there going to be a "B" Slug liner?

Dear FX USA, so after receiving my .22 pellet liner B 600mm, the following questions have arisen!

My B liner has one ring around the breech end, there are rumours that the B liner should have 2, is this correct or not?

If indeed it is the B liner I have recieved then it has a choke thats for sure, in fact the 5.52 25g JSB redesigned Monsters are extemely tight in the bore, when pushing them through with a rod there is a very large amout of marr on the pellet skirt and head, this is confusing since the B liner is supposed to be precisely for the larger skirt pellet type isn't it?

Max velocity achieved with the 25g is 880FPS, 15mm hammer, 4 lines valve setting, 150 bar reg etc. etc. dissapointing, only thing holding back the velocity can be the pellet friction or the TP size?

Perhaps you could share some information on what has been acheived with these in out of the box guns please?

NOT even a plastic bag around it, no serial number. NOTHING! I asked EVERYWHERE. Youtube channel, overhere,,Facebook, theit “info” mail adress that no longer works.

So how in GODS NAME can i check if it is the correct slug liner?? FX20071

Starting to get regrets overhere..... And typical:NO answer.

Now i have a shiny tube, thzt i paid €100 for, and it just got trown into my face. Because thats how it feels. Who knows what liner they send me? No way to check.

That's a different part number than what I received from UA (mine was also oiled, and protected at both ends with bubble wrap in the cardboard cylinder inside of another outer box, no complaints from me)..

I’m with you as well. I received my .25 700mm barrel last week and was shooting 36 grain NSA slugs which were absolutely horrendous. Cardboard cylinder said what I wanted but who knows if bad barrel or something else or just completely sucks very disappointed. Emailed nick at NSA about slugs and said Matt thought 39 grain were better so retesting to see. I doubt any better from honestly how bad the groups were 6 inches at 50 yards.
