FX 600mm Barrel / 5oomm liner

Has anyone used a 500mm liner in a 600mm barrel? Wondering if this would work. I have a 177 500mm liner and a 600mm barrel and shroud off a 22. Checking to see if this would work before I spend 300 in a new barrel kit!!!

I have used 500mm in a 700mm shroud. No reason there should be an issue. Just use the barrel spacers, and if it's an older barrel make sure to use the air stripper.

I'm trying to use a 500mm liner in a 600mm barrel. Wasn't sure if the liner will shift causing problems?

You can't do that the liner would shift and move around, as you suspected, inside the barrel sleeve. Gun damage will happen if you do it.

You would need spacers to hold things in place and then screw on the air stripper to hold everything together as Long_Gun_Dallas points out.

U can probably get parts outer barrel from FX and probe and shroud from FX cheeper then buying a kit I bought a 500 shroud from FX 75 bucks some one was saying the outer tube for a 700 was like 58 bucks then just get a caliber change kit from Huma air I think there 99 backs or something like that that's the barrel nut and other side plus TP and probe i believe it would be a little cheaper doing it that way

all is possible, but as is, you CAN'T

you need to cut the barrel sleeve and shroud , and make the threads again ... lathe ... etc ... easier to get the 500mm barrel

So just got off the phone with FX USA and ordered the parts need to work, 500mm Shroud, muzzle cover, compensator 177, shroud guide and pellet probe. $117 shipped to me, not bad and better than buying a whole new barrel kit!!! Thanks...
