I recently ordered and received 2 tins of .30 cal, 50.2 g pellets from a dealer in the US. The reason for these questions is because in the past all the JSB and FX pellets that I have ordered from other dealers came with the tins sealed with either a (JSB)red tape or (FX) white tape. These two tins were not sealed and after inspecting and weighing, there were only 4 pellets that weighted more then 49.9 g. I rechecked with two other scales to make sure the scales were functioning properly.. My other observation is that all the other pellets in the past in sealed tins varied in weight on both sides of the advertised weight. I found this strange that there were no pellets close to 50.2 or higher. Is this the norm of this size pellets today?
