JSB Hades and FX Atomic dies are pretty new so unlikely will see major difference for now. JSB sells more so eventually JSB version will likely degrade in quality sooner like their regular pellets, but that might take a while.

For comparison I ordered 4 tins of hades for my backyard squirrels 2 years ago when it was new and I’m just now on my last tin of those 4. Bought 5 more tins of FX version 6 months ago and they are still taped together. However I’ve gone through only 4 tins of 10.3 grain pellets in as many months mainly because of amount of rain we had, or the ratio of 10.3 to Hades I shoot is likely 20:1.

We've had such little amounts of rain that the critters are even scarce. But I have lots of paper
And I've acquired some metal spinners/targets to reduce the amount of paper and such produced from just target practice.
I do like using the paper for having "specific" target styles that need to be printed out though.(I need to go get some more of the challenges on here printed off so I can try them/post my score attempts)

Maybe her Wildcat will be as accurate or more since it will have a 600mm barrel vs the 500mm on the compact.

From my understanding, there's pros and cons to barrel length. Sometimes longer barrels can be less accurate if the shooter allows movement during the shot cycle. The longer barrels force the projectile to stay in the cycle longer, coming out the muzzle a split second longer than say a 500mm. Any movement will cause more error in longer barrels. However longer barrels are probably more efficient and will cause the same projectile to be a bit faster with the same reg pressure and hammer spring settings than out of a shorter barrel.

I tend to agree with you, some of my most accurate gear over the years have had shorter barrels. Probably more because they suited my off hand shooting style.
Kalibrgun cricket being a classic example, 350mm barrel length. Probably the most usable thing I own.
Often when watching developments, marketing hype, who tube or whatnot. 10 minutes with the short barrel original Cricket saves me a pocket full of cash, prevents my brain overload.

FX .177 Atomic 10.3gr

Since my Vulcan 3 didn't like these at all, I wanted to try them in my stock Crosman 1720T. I have a small red dot and additional 3X magnifier mounted along with and an external regulator keeping the reservoir at 2500psi. The gun was quite consistent shooting an average 650fps with a SD of 3.4 over 10 shots.
The Atomics shot well at 25yds and even did reasonably well at 50yds. I was able to hit a 2" spinner several times once I figured out where to put the dot.

I shoot the 15.9 gr .22 in my wildcat mk3 compact and they are amazing. I’m sure they’re a hades packaged for FX, as all the other FX pellets are JSB. I’m shooting them at 937 and they are extremely accurate. I love them.

Despite major reg issues, we were able to pump about 5 mags of FX Atomics and/or Hades out of my lady's Wildcat MK3 BT this past weekend. At 25 yards they were more accurate than the shooter. @ 920fps
Not sure exactly how many .22 cals went through this hole, maybe 10+.
