Fwb300SU adjustable cheek piece broken?

Hey!

My first own thread.

I own a FWB300SU since a couple of weeks.

Yesterday I tried first time to raise the cheekpiece. But it wont stay in place! 

What could be wrong? How does it work raising the piece to a fixed hight?

Depends if it's a gen one or gen two or gen 3. One and 2 have fixed cheek pieces but come with a high or low option, gen 3 is adjustable. This is my gen 1 below with high cheek piece installed, low one is below on the right... Gen 3 will have stippling all the way back to the trigger guard.

the 2 thumb screws are your adjustments and the center screw is the set, at least that what it looks like on the Feinwerkbau parts diagram

You unscrew the bottom screws until the cheek piece comes off. Then you use spacers, such as delrin washers over the ends of the screws to set it as high as you want. Put the riser back on, tighten the screws and that's it. It is not adjustable like the new ones FT shooters use; a little more old school.

Mine has only two screws in the bottom.

well if is like the Diana 75's they used 3mm washers stack up to what ever height you needed, a lot of time you see the barrel spacers used

I just had some delrin spacers made for my 75 in 3-5-10-15-20mm at 1 inch diameter

there are no diagrams for the older FWB 300 only the 300s with the updated stock

No, not yet.

Im waiting for adjustable scoop mounts.

I'll post an update later on
