FWB300S in need of repair

Hi all,

I have an old FMB300S that is in need of repair. I have not used it for 15 years or so and my daughter recently got into using it. Unfortunately the rubber gaskets are getting pitted and accuracy is dropping. So at least I need new seals but maybe a complete re-tune and cleaning.

Does anyone know someone that can do this type of repair preferable in south east Michigan? I do not even know where to get spare parts?

I would be really happy if someone could help me out.

It would be a pity to throw away this rifle.

Kind regards,

Ronny

If that conical funnel looking breech seal isn't totally cracked due to age and only SQUASHED you can fix that yourself by carefully removing it and soaking it in Alphabet org Trans Stop Leak Quick Fix for a day. Won't hurt if worst case scenario you gonna pay to send in for a total REBUILD anyway. CHA-CHING!!! Nothing to lose here.

Thanks Yo!

I think it is beyond just soaking so either I need to find a DIY kit or make one.

The inner piston seal may be bad as well. Does the kit come with both?

Do you know of any good YouTube video that walks you through how to do it? Do you need special tools? I have never taken the rifle apart. My coach arranged for all repairs when I was shooting competitively (a long time ago).

I would be interested in learning how to make a seal. I only have a very basic shop in the basement though.

How much is it approximately to send your rifle for rebuild?
