Thanks Joe. Addicting little cusses, these 300s are. Never had an airgun that I thought I needed more then one of, just bought my first 300 last week and I'm already looking for a deal so that I can add another one to the collection.
I managed to come across a left-handed 300 a few months ago, certainly not something you find every day! It's a lot of fun for basement offhand shooting practice.
The 300 action with the longer cocking lever will fit early 300S stocks as shown in photo below. Arrows depict end of cutout. However, some of the later 300S stocks are notched only to the end of shorter lever tips thus preventing the longer lever on the 300 from closing completely. Material removal from the stock would be necessary.
