FWB300 mini consistency

I shot these groups at 22 yards off of bags using the 8.44 JSB .177 pellets. So far this is the most accurate springer I’ve ever shot. It just does the same thing every time and it’s a pleasure to shoot. Fantastic little gun. Gotta say thanks to Shambozzie for insisting that I get one!

Hi! Dave, I have a 300S universal that seems to like the JSB 7.87 grain pellets best. I don't shoot it much anymore but it is definitely the finest shooting springer that I have ever shot by far and Ive shot most of them!! If they had a bit more power you would see a lot of them still in use for field target (spring gun class) as they are almost indestructible and don't seem to have the inconsistency of other springers. People have tried to up the power of them but sooner or later end up breaking something as they were meant for ten meters and that's were they shine! Although in no wind conditions they can shoot VERY well at longer ranges. The are also very popular with guys that shoot twenty five yard USARB bench rest indoors and I believe the 300 holds the record for the spring gun class. Good luck and have fun!! J.L.

Back in the early 90’s when shooting in an informal airgun league on Thursday nights back in Michigan I started bringing my 9 year old son. He was an immediate hit with the men. About 25-35 people. The league rules were that kids could use the bench. He could cock and handle only one of my air rifles however. Yep you guessed it. My FWB 300 mini with a Leopold 3-9 AO. Needless to say who the champ was year after year. The men enjoyed taking turns leaning/bumping extra hard into the bench when he was up shooting. Then when walking up to pull the targets they would snicker and point out that he missed one. It was the only time there wasn’t a single hole in the center of the 10 ring. Sweet memories.

Merry Christmas.
