Fwb124D Walnut

This one is a factory walnut. Won it in an auction here in Australia. I know there a few sports about here but this is the first I’ve seen for sale. Just a bonus it has the walnut stock. 
I think it was a deceased estate. The seal has had it so I haven’t been able to shoot it yet. 
Serial no 53728 which corresponds to 1983 when the walnut option was available from the factory. Otherwise it has no other marking apart from the fwb markings. 
Anyone know how many walnut stocks where produced? Did they just turn up as a percentage of rifles produced or was it a factory order?

I have not seen any info on how many walnuts FWB 124/127's were made. Not sure but send FWB a direct email, they "might" have actual production numbers...

very nice! i have a mid-80s FWB124, but the piston is dust. pretty sure mine's beech.

i don't have the skillz, and it doesn't seem worth spending $100+ in shipping, and the expense of the repair guru.

just sits hanging on the wall, teasing me...

Got a classic Diana 34 I can ship with the FWB24, which needs some sort of trigger work. Was fine until I got my fingers in there.

even considering selling my sweet D350 mag, but I haven't figured which I'd replace it with. Really overkill for someone who only kills paper.
