I am trying to determine the value of my FWB 603 . Any information on the best way to do this would be appreciated.
I have looked on ebay but didn’t find any 603’s.
I was wondering how one goes about selling and shipping. I tried looking for in state forums but never got anywhere. They weren't very common. And the fewer of anything that exist, the exponentially fewer exist on the used market. That so, the deeper you have to dig to find values. Consequently sometimes finding only outdated sales (years ago), dissimilar model variations and/or conditions.
Even then values and selling prices vary wildly depending on how long and deep you're willing to search for a qualified/motivated buyer versus quicker sale/cheaper price to a less motivated buyer.
To paraphrase, there's more to selling used airguns than meets the eye; more obstacles and pitfalls too. Don't get me started on the subject of packaging, shipping and insuring long, heavy air rifles.Suffice to say I've written at least one chapter and several posts on these subjects.
FWIW, I bought and later sold an FWB 600 decades ago. Think I got $450 (from a qualified/motivated buyer).

Don't know about the relevance of the red/maple stock to the model, always thought that the stock colors were an option.
My 603 has the "Christmas stock", with red/green/blue laminate. I tell you that as an old guy who strongly likes traditional stocks, preferably in walnut, the stock on the 603 was a real shock to the system!Took me a while to get used to the colors, happy to say that I've become way more tolerant of non-traditional guns and stocks... I even have a couple of tactical rifles!
Attached is a picture of my FWB 603. For reference, the LOP is 13 inches.
Cheers!
