FWB 602 Questions

I picked up a FWB 602 Saturday. It used to be a collegiate team rifle. It is missing the rubber butt plate that is vertically adjustable. Any idea where to get a replacement?

I would like to put a scope on it. Nikkonos, the fellow that sold a shortened gate kit in the past, sells a kit for the 600 and 601 without the gate. I think there may some differences in the 602 design, and I would like to retain the original loading gate if possible. Any tips on the current best way to put a scope on a 602?

Thanks.

Thanks, Foxgun. The original poster in that link has way more machine skills than me, and it does sound like the Nikkonos kits are more designed for the 600/601 series. I don't mind trying to modify an OEM loading gate, but I would like to find one to work on and keep the existing loading gate intact. I have done these projects before and I know of what I speak.

factory short gates are very hard to find and Nikkonos is the only place that has an option of a cut down gate

on the butt parts that you need, I would Email the Gals at Feinwerkbau and ask if the part, parts are available, there prices would be the best and there shipping can be cheaper

here is the parts diagram page at FWB

at least once you have the part number you can Google it and FWB does not have the short loading gates I have asked in the past

I think the pin sizes change as the 600 series models advance and you can check that by comparing the parts on there site
