The F is called a Freimark, which means it is legal to own for a citizen in Germany. The middle mark means that the barrel or receiver was proofed in the Munich proof house. The 19 one is a date code from the Munich proof house denoting the date of proofing.
I have no idea why it is 19 instead of 68 or 69, which would be in keeping with date of manufacture. Perhaps someone had the rifle proofed at a later date?
Thank you. This non Daisy FWB300 came out of the Munich Police Academy Armory, and was little used? I have other FWB air guns, and this seems the most accurate, but that may just be in my head since any of them are more accurate than me?
Originating from the inventory of an official Gov. agency explains why it was proofed.
When did you acquire it?
I would wager that being an official agency, they may have had the rifle proof tested before selling it off to a civilian??? That is just a wild guess though.
