I'm not the one to ask but your question was pointed out to me so I will explain how mine was done.
Use a stripper, then a block, always a block. Fingers will show channels once finished otherwise.
Tape the stippling. Leave the butt pad on & tape it also if not experienced.
Collectors will tell you anything but the original nitrocellulose finish devalues the airgun. I didn't care about value so I went ahead & refinished mine with a custom blend utilizing the oil based wet sanding techniques. To each their own on this part.

I did blow out, toothbrush & use ebony stain on stippling prior to the application of any oil. Stripping agent wasn't applied to stippling either. No need.
Before: In need of being sanded and blued. Ugly chipping of nitrocellulose, lots of dents, pressure marks.
After: Much nicer lighter finish that helps to accentuate the mineral striping. All imperfections have been sanded out.
I'm a left eye dominant shooter but only two of mine are dedicated. I much rather prefer ambidextrous adjustable height combs and right handed bolts, loading.
I'm not going to dissemble to reblue it. I may eventually blue the cocking handle & barrel, other visible metal in need but unless I find someone experienced enough to completely dissemble, do a deep dark black blue job, and completely reseal, add fitted new springs, etc. it's fine for my rare desired usage.
Good luck & enjoy.
