So I been talking with O.C. the guy who runs Junkyard Airguns ( Great Guy ) and he knows his stuff !!! Ok so most of the FWB guys know the volume of the air chamber , and the length of the power stroke kinda dictate how fast one of these guns can be . Well with that in mind he took two different types of piston buffers and tried them to see the difference in speed . He made NO other changes . Here are the two types he used.

On top is one of the thick kinda hockey puck shaped buffers that naturally takes up more space . On bottom is a FWB buffer that is much slimmer and has a slight dome shape and from the side is Very thin ..Below are the speed readings ..Thick buffer on the right , thin on the left .

This guy REALLY knows his stuff on airguns . And he was Dead on about the volume difference . Thanks again OC for letting me share these results . And y'all check out his forum ...Its just for fun but lots of cool guys there .
