Can anyone weigh in on which of these fine springers are most accurate out to 55 yards. I have both , but trying to pick one for field target use. Pellets weight for each.

Have you tried seeing which one groups best at that range? That's where I'd start. Most of the piston FT guys I see shoot underlevers or sidelevers like the Diana 54.

Neither IMO are really ideal for the game of Field Target ... especially beyond 40 or so yards !
If one said IT IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO USE ... SO DEAL WITH IT ? it would be the FWB 124 due to higher power.

2 very fine rifles! The HW gives you the superior Rekord trigger. The FWB a world class barrel. As previously mentioned, the FWB is more powerful and easy-to-use. Personally, it's the 124 when given the choice of the two. I have one with a match rear site and its deadly out to 50 yards. Either way have fun!

I agree with Scott as to neither for FT but if a choice has to be made then go with the FWB
