Here its just above freezing 26 MPH winds and gusts up to 58 MPH
So i am not keen on being outside and touching / handling anything metal, but it is a age thing i think, decades ago i would stand in waist deep water on the coast and have my fly line freeze to the damn rod, and i was still having fun.

I was literally dragged out of bed at an ungodly hour, made to dress warmly, drive for an hour in the mountains, climb down a steep hill, colder than a freezer, to stand on the bank of a river to attempt to catch Steelhead as it snowed. Never did catch one, but did snag one once, had to toss it back. Never was any good at catching fish, except for a German Brown trout, used well chewed Wrigle's gum. Oh caught a small Walleye up in Minnesota/Canada once Boundary Waters canoeing.
