Yeah, that got your attention. Suddenly, my Revolutions fires two pellets with one trigger squeeze and it happens so quickly that you hear only one shot! It does not latch the sear for the second shot...kinda like firing from an open bolt. Then it will not cock itself or pick up a pellet for the third shot, probably because it didn't recover from the pressure loss of two instantaneous shots. Seems to me that if it cocks far enuf to pick up a pellet,it should also latch in the sear....but it doesn't. Cleaned meticulously inside. A puff of air from my shop compressor down the air tube will easily cocks it on the bench. I increased and decreased hammer spring tension. Polished the hammer sear ring and squared up it's corner for the sear to catch onto.Adjusted the trigger group every which way and have had the thing apart so many times I can nearly do it in the dark. I'm leaning towards the trigger/sear as the problem. Anybody have any tips/ procedures or specs? I am stumped :( :(
 
Does it have a gas adjust? By that I mean something that changes the amount of gas tapped off at the muzzle to cycle it? I ask because it sounds to me like it is cycling too hard on the first shot and so is bouncing before the sear can catch the hammer. I'm just guessing wildly here based off my experience with firearms. *shrug*

I thought the same thing.There is a set screw in the piston cylinder that controls how deep the piston goes in the cylinder. All the way in,all the way out and no change. Not sure of it's purpose. Cylinder can also be moved forward and aft. It is set right now on the original set screw marks. Action cycles really smooth (manually) and when it picks up a pellet (manually) the sear has been cocked. Increasing the hammer spring tension should have helped if it was cycling too quickly to latch the sear. The sear engagement spring is a straight piece of piano wire that lay crossways on the sear. Though about using a heavier piece of wire, but have not tried that yet.

Disconnector and disconnector spring.....is probably the culprit this is the two wire springs on the drum, you have a timing issue with disconnect first shot you are firing, the second shot is following the disconnector is either not catching at all or holding too short, probably. you will likely have to fire dry without air a time or two while hand cycling outside stock to see problem. with trigger pulled
