What are you guys using to produce videos for Youtube? I need a Windows application that's easy to use and allows effects like "picture in picture", split screen, etc.

I haven't tried this one as I use Premier Pro, but I've heard good things about it and there are a ton of how-to videos available.

If you have a newer version of Windows, there should be "Video Editor" on there. It has some base effects. It's not the best thing in the world but I've made some OK looking videos and transition effects with it.

VideoPad, Filmora, Kinemaster, capcut
Of note, Capcut is a product of Tiktok.
If I was starting from nothing and wanted to be able to grow, but not to "professional" levels, kdenlive. If I was wanting to grow to "professional" levels, Media Composer or Resolve. If I just wanted to stay at hobby levels, any of the ones in the easy category would be fine for a long time.
