Are any of you folks running a drying or desicant system on your compressors or running them as is? I have a dice shop 20 minutes away but there is almost never someone there willing to fill a tank, so now that means 2 trips per fill.

Before my compressor I had to drive 50 miles each way. Leave my tank and wait for the shop to call when he got the chance to fill it. Most of the time it only took a couple of days. Each fill took 200 miles on my car But he only charged me $14 to fill the tank. I bought a cheap chinese compressor for $390. I am saving money.

Well, my Shoebox sprung an irreparable leak. So, a couple days ago I dropped a bunch of dimes on an Omega Air Charger (not the Super Charger). It'll be here day after tomorrow.
I looking forward to using it. It'll be simpler, easier and faster then my old Shoebox.

Does anyone know it you can hold your carbon fiber cu.ft. tank up-side-down and then crack the valve to see if there's any water inside it? Is there any reason not to?

Hey Bobby are you gonna run the Diablo air dryer? I have the super charger and it does seem to pump a bit of water. I'm thinking about getting the Diablo.

It won't drain holding upside down, there is a small tube that goes into the bottle about 3", maybe if you cut the tube off. Regards, Tom

BTW, I received my Omega Air charger compressor today and after setting it up, I took my 66 cu.ft. carbon fiber tank from about 2800 pst to 4500 in no time at all.
I sure do like this new compressor a lot better than my Shoebox.
