I have been searching and have NOT found any test of FPS VS Pumps vs weights,
for the DF II 177 cal and various pellets weights from the lightest to heavy weights.
Any info available?
This is what I am thinking about,
This test will be for fps first and then the accuracy test will follow later,
with the below brands/weights.
7.2 gr Daisy Flat Nosed WC (spain),
7.5 gr Gamo Tomahawk PT HP,
7.9 gr Crosman Premier HP (usa),
9.5 gr H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme FN HP
10.3 gr Air Arms Heavy Field Domed,
10.3 gr JSB Exact Heavy Comed,
10.4 gr Gamo Whisper Semi Domed,
10.5 gr Crosman Ultra Mag Domed (usa),
10.5 gr Crosman Piranha HP (usa),
10.5 gr Crosman Premier FT Silhouette Domed,
10.5 gr Gamo Silent Cat Semi PT,
10.6 gr H&N Baracuda Domed,
12.5 gr Nielson HP, Bullet,
13.4 gr Daystate Rangemaster King Domed,
16.1 gr Seneca Domed,
16.2 gr JSB Beast Domed,
Number of pumps/gr weight
Skip 1 pump.
1 > 15 pumps for all weights = 1 test. Note the below information,
If the pellet does NOT EXIT or STICKS in the barrel,
then the number of pumps will be increased, until RELIABLE PELLET EXITS is found.
3, 5, 10 pumps = 7gr WC
3, 5, 10, 15 pumps = 7 gr Domed
5, 10, 15 pumps = 10gr
5, 10 pumps = 16 gr
If you want a different pellet weight or pumps tested, Please advised,
If you have canned OEM unwanted pellets, (177 or 22 Cal) and would like to get rid of them,
Advise cost/shipping etc, and I'll see if my rat hole funds can support it. lol
