Fox in the hen house

So just now had a Fox in my hen house was too close for dnt tnc225r to range my guess about 6 feet I was laying on ground looking through a 16in square entry door for chickens. That way if Fox wanted out he would have to go through my face lol. The gun Vulcan 3hp .30 59gr zan at 970 fps. So now there's one Fox less

That's up close & personal ! Get close and use enough gun. Way to clear the house.

placing your self 6 feet from a cornered fox , not the best idea . nice shot BTW

With our storms last weekend here is where my chicken coop is/was there was no other way to get a shot as he already killed one chicken and there were 10 to 15 chickens in there with him. So either shoot him or let him kill all the other chickens. We lost 30 to 40 large trees 4 to 5 48inch cottonwood trees

My coop run is smashed to bits under the tree we had a 10x20 enclosed fenced area with door and a 10x12 steel shed the run got squished and cant lock it up. the wood box is a temp dog house for new pup

A tree or part of a tree fell on your run? N/M I just saw the pic.Trees provide great shelter from weather, but I worry about the same thing.

Sorry about the trees and house , but life go's on . Can you salvage any lumber out of the trees ? firewood ? Maybe a firewood fence to guide the Fox or others into a longer path to the coops ? shooting range ?

Ues all wood will be salvage i burn wood in my shop and i also have a sawmill. I do a lil dabbling in woodworking
