Fox carrying squirrel kill off

Took a squirrel yesterday afternoon and my friend came through for late night snack.

Mr. Baldone,

Thanks for your picture, one of my favorite things is to put my gopher, ground squirrel and rat kills out for our "sort of pets" to eat. I enjoy watching the videos and showing them to my friends. This fox has kits somewhere near by, I haven't run across this bunch yet. Last year she had 5 and we watched them until she moved them when our resident bobcat got interested in watching them too.

I am old and totally tech impaired and don't understand what the blue lines are in your photo. Mr, uhfradarwill helped me learn how to post videos from my trail cam the other day, I can't thank him enough.

I hope it is OK to share my fox video....

Nice video and range

My big PTZ security cameras are used more to watch wildlife than anything else.

Super cool!!! I have a grey fox visit my yard often. Except it took no interest in the rat I left out for it and ate the peanut butter I use as bait for the rats instead. Maybe since it lives in suburban California now it got converted to veganism by one of the Bay Area refugees??!?!?!? I even made sure there is no lead pellet left in the rat.

Mr. Baldone,

With such a heavily wooded yard, I bet you have lots of hopefuls auditioning for your pictures. I hope you enjoy your Father's Day, and get to see more wildlife tonight.

Good luck with the security/wildlife cam, stay healthy and safe

Thank you sir

We are hoping to move to a heavy wood 3 acer lot soon.

You have a great day yourself.

Mr. qball,

My fox enjoys peanut butter too, Mr. JohnnyPDX a fellow pester on Airgun Nation takes it to the gourmet level with chocolate syrup and wild bird seed. Yes, checking all my kills for pellet pass thru is a requirement also.

I can't help it Mr. Baldone, just one more video and I will stop.

What would you prefer....rat or gopher ??? I think our foxes definitely don't like rats. Three gophers are a mouthful though.

Here at my place we’ve had a lot of Fox lately running about, at all times of the day. They are very bold and don’t even worry about all seeing them move about. There was one in my back yard, and my year old male German Shepherd chased it out. Then the fox hung out barking at my shepherd from the other side of the wrought iron fence. I was wondering what it was doing hanging out, then all of a sudden I heard a yelp.

with the sun blaring into my eyes, I saw what looked like my shepherd jumping up like Michael Jordan high and snatch what I thought was a squirrel out of a tree! I was like what the heck, catching a squirrel from up a tree!!??

it was a pup Fox. It yelped for its life as my Shepard only wanted to play with it. It ran up another tree and only this time stayed up on a branch like 10’ up. So it all made sense. It was momma fox barking at my dog, wanting its pup back. So, I pulled Gussey, my dog, into the house and left momma alone to go fetch her young ‘un.

Meanwhile, I asked Alexa to play “reunited” from the ‘80’s
