Found me a little gem!!!

Been looking for a scope that is light and compact for my pp700, Being the gun cost me 250 new the March 1-10 dual reticle is out of question. Been on the hunt for a while and tried many scopes and current on a red dot which i shot a squirrel in the head with at 29 yards, certain sky very accurate and functional but I wanted a bit more magnification.

Monday night I was looking at prism scopes and came across this little gem, at 60 bucks I figure I’ll give it a try. Same day shipping and I showed up at my door in 12 hours!!!! Mounted it with an offset mount because of the short eye relief and OMG this thing is awesome!!!!!

Just look at this thing!! It’s is tiny!!! It has clear(enough) glass, true to scale zoom of 2-8, reasonably wide field of view, adjustable eye piece and get this....illuminated reticle and locking turrets??!?!?!? And best part of this thing is it’s super light and super compact!!!! I can’t believe it, it is freaking soooooo cool!! Must be the smallest LPVO in the world!!!!

if you have a PP700/750/any other compact/micro carbine that don’t need huge magnification and super light and compact form factor you owe it to yourself to try this thing. This thing is awesome so far from 10 feet to 30 yards!!!

Is it adjustable objective? I’m very interested in this for my pp750. I currently have a discovery on top that does well and is pretty compact, but still too heavy for my liking. This would fit the bill, but if it’s fixed parallax, that’s tough.

Ad says: Parallax: 100 yds. Picture shows two turrets, and the on/off switch for the illuminated reticle.

correct, very typical of LPVO scopes but with adjustable eye piece you can get 8x focus pretty well at closer distances and 2x will focus really close.

Got no problem with my 1-4x20 LPVO with a 100-yard parallax either:

So I received this little gem of a scope a few days ago. It is the smallest and lightest LPVO I have seen, and yet it is as clear as any other 24mm tubed glass well above it's price range. As expected, it does have a little fish eye effect, but not really that bad even with the eye off center. I expected worse. The reticle is a bit thick, but not intrusive so it can be used to center small birds and chipmunks easily enough. I'd figured it is about 2 MOA at it's worst. As for the parallax setting, it was out there in the 100+ yards range when I got it. The closer you targeted the something the more it "moved" and not it hold centered when moving your eye off center. And so, on to my parallax adjustment experiment...

I took the front outer ring loose and started fiddling with the front lense adjustment to see what it had in it. It has a rather fine range of adjustment between infinite and closer parallax. The scope's focus is also greatly effected by the adjustment as well. The findings there were that there's a balance between the scope's focus and parallax settings.

Ultimately, I ended up adjusting the inner lense out a bit from original position to put the full power parallax comfortably at 20 yards and beyond. Dialing down the variable power allowed for even closer focus and parallax.

Sorry for the thread jack, but have you looked at your Atibal to see if the same thing can be done?

The Atibal 1-10 with its long eye relief is still a very intriguing Classic Leshiy scope but I don't think I can deal with the 100 yard parallax.

As a matter of fact, I just got done trying to get it apart and have put it back together, permanently. They glued the front of this particular scope together from the factory too tightly to move the inner ring so I can't adjust it. It would have been nice to have lowered the parallax setting on it because it is a bit far for magnified close range shooting. Don't get me wrong, this is a great scope even at lower magnification and close range. I have been thinking about getting the FFP version in the new 1-12 model that Atibal is testing now, but want to speak with them about the parallax setting with regards to setting it up closer. No LPVO really needs the parallax setting that far out, and they are more accurate/forgiving set at closer ranges based on how they are generally used anyhow.

I figured as much. I think I posted to you in another thread that I emailed Atibal about purchasing one of their SFP 1-10's with the parallax adjusted and they indicated they wouldn't or couldn't do it. I'll look forward to hearing what you find out about their 1-12.
