Found another good deal for you springer...

My new parrus is a bastard to cock. I have no idea how much wieght but the real issue is slapping the barrel open. It locks in super tight and after about 20 shots without gloves it feels like I just hi fived Andre the giant. I seriously broke a blood vessel doing it the other day. After awhile it should loosen up but really it's a statement of its quality. Should be easier after I put my ldc on it.

I had a 350 Magnum in .177 I gave to my son. Every pellet I shot in it that weighed less than 10 grains was supersonic. Too much gun for .177. The spring version has a very long power stroke. I did not like that. Cocking effort was not all that bad. Not for a child but clearly the rifle isn't intended to be a kids gun. If I were going to get one of those I think I'd want it in .25 cal. Still the N-Tec might be a pretty fine rifle to the right hunter.

I would suggest you try the 177 JSB Monsters original and redesigned and Beasts as well as the Seneca Eun Jin 16gr domes. You may be happily surprised! YO!
