Found a good use for my now illegal brace

Figured instead of throw it away or pay for the stamp and let the 3 letter mafia into my life more than im comfortable with, I could make it work on this NP03 build I'm cobbling together.

It came out better than I hoped, and I will get the stupid angle Kral puts on the tube straightened tomorrow. Should work out great. This rifle is just over 35 inches and is 177 doing 19 fpe regulated 140 shots. Capable of 22 or 25 conversion too. Fully shrouded and 5 baffles its pretty quiet.

Going to plastic weld the foregrip together and hope I can make it look seemless or ill epoxy over and shape it then try a hydro dip on it I think. Just waiting on a barrel band to get here and I can get it out for some groups, but I know this barrel loves cheap ole crosmans wish is a huge bonus.

That's why I went with the Stoeger Bullshark. It's less than 6 pounds. I'm not a weakling but I really prefer lighter guns.
100%, thats my biggest complaint with air rifles. Lord knows they'll kill even with far less energy than the real deal, but walking around with a 10+ lb rifle to squirrel hunt is absurd lol. That's why I use my 2260 pcp guns for woods walking. Under 5lbs with a scope and 30 fpe for 15 shots is plenty.

Moderator edit: warned content - violation of RULE #11 and RULE #4 removed.
This site is massively over filtered, regulated whatever you want to call it but it is what it is until there is a better option. GTA stinks compared to here in my opinion so I deal with it. Def take the opportunities (such as this) to voice my opinion though.

If that is a firearm and not a bb/pellet gun, that is a short barrel rifle(SBR), not a pistol with a brace. Two ways that could be legal, first is it is old enough and came with originally, over 100 years old now and it is specifically grandfathered as ok(break original and you can't replace it without the stamp), or you have the 200 dollar tax stamp. I'm sure that is a bb/pellet gun, but if it were real and one of the grandfathered ones, it would be worth a mint. I know two people with legal grandfathered lugers with stock and no stamp, worth north of 20k these days.

@Boostcreep , I'm sure you are aware all the alphabet agencies consider it constructive intent if you own something they don't like in combination with owning the thing they don't want it on, it is the same thing as having the two together. Admittedly, they will never bother you about it unless something happens in the future and they want to nail you. Then it wouldn't matter if it was on an air rifle if you still owned the other thing.

I've been wanting to put a tax stamp on one of mine, now that it will be free there is no more thought about it, I'm getting a free tax stamp and the brace will just go in a box and be replaced with something much better. They won't charge you the fee for the tax stamp if you apply within 120 days of rule being published. I'm hoping a brace I just ordered (still legal until rule published in federal register that will happen very soon) gets here before rule is published, then I get two free tax stamps. Found the cheapest thing out there, figured it was worth 14 dollars for chance at a second free tax stamp.

They estimate 10-40 million braces out there... Personally I'm waiting till they decide this in court, I do not think this BS will be upheld just like their idiotic bump stock legislation got tossed out.

Didn't know that the stamp would be free BUT I don't like registering anything even my motor vehicle lol. Government has WAY overreached, the founding fathers would loathe the current US of A.

Why would you think putting your name in the registry of a domestically sponsored terrorist organization would be a bad idea? lol
