Fortitude marketing question.

Are the retailers going to list the new Fortitude as GEN 2, or are we not going to know whether we are getting the improved version, or some old stock of the original version, until it lands on our doorstep ?

I'm almost ready to order one but nobody pretends to know if the ones they have are "Gen2" and they don't want to unbox to check for the "G2" on the model/serial #.

I don't want the original version.

Who are these people you are speaking with that have the Fortitude in stock?

One might think Crosman issued a recall on stock. There will only be the one model there are no "original" whatever on the market so buy new and get the latest greatest.

And being as it is cromsan you might think that IF you have and original w/warranty and sent it in for work the latest greatest would be it's replacement.

Correct. MidwayUSA had one in stock, but they allegedly couldn't unbox it to confirm if it was G2.

So that kinda confirmed to me that there are still some original ones in warehouses. More than likely. And on the PA site they are "pre order" but nothing in the description indicates that it is G2.
