For you Sheridan model C owners-how tall is the front sight from the top of the barrel?

Hi Folks,
I'm trying to bring my Model C to something like a stock front sight so I can use the Williams peep designed for the Model C. Some Einstein of a previous owner broke off the front sight blade. I improvised a front sight and peep, but the front sight is plastic and eventually broke. I have plans to fold one up from brass sheet and JB weld it to the remnants of the old sight, but I need the height of the original front sight from the top of the barrel to the top of the front sight blade.

Just checked mine and it's about .348". You've done a good job bring that one back from the brink! (Hurts my heart to see one abused like it was...)

A friend of mine rescued the gun from a dumpster years ago. My son and I resealed it, it shoots very well!
