For you hand pumpers, how often do you change the moisture filter?

I have a cheap vevor hand pump I’ve been using and it came with quite a few extra cotton filters for keeping out the moisture. From what I can tell it’s not easy to get in there to change it out and there’s no instructions or references on how often it should be done. How often are y’all changing these?
You change them when they are wet/ dirty. A few pairs of channel lock plyers. Or pipe wrenches. You should be able to un screw one end. Just be careful with the o rings on the end caps, the filter housing is a pressure vessel. Then you can replace the cotton filters, if they are dirty. You can also wash , dry and reuse the cotton filters.
