Crosman For the hangun lovers!

Sorry, I had logged off and didn't see these replies..
This is the description I sent to Mark.

It's a basic 2240 with a steel breech and a Challenger power adjuster. It has the Disco muzzle break. It's .22 and C02. I cut and crowned the barrel to end evenly with the tube cap with the muzzle break on it. Single shot. The grips are from Davio at Alchemy Airwerks. Oh, and that's a flip up peep from a Ruger 10/22. It will flip down out of the way to add an optic.
It's loud and proud and surprisingly accurate.
Thanks for your interest. And yes, of the 20 + pistols I have, it's my favorite. I keep it with my when I'm mowing or in the woods. I have taken a few snakes with it.

Here's the fun part..
Anyone who gets caught up in the Crosman "lego gun" trap will eventually end up with a drawer full of spare parts. This gun was put together entirely out of one of those spare parts drawer.
do you know what fps it's shooting?.. might be a good platform for a compact PCP, if you use a high pressure air tube..

I'll have to get it out and chrono it... I forgot the numbers on it.

For me it is clearly the Huben GK1 in .25 and so much so I have sold my Webly's, and other air pistols as they are just no comparison to the power, accuracy, and reliability of the GK1. Once you shoot a GK1 is is highly likely you will have the same reaction :)
That's a beautiful one but also versatile?! That's great! That may be the next one i buy down the line

The sweetest to shoot might be the Hammerli Master, a CO2 match pistol from the 60's / 70's. Elegant, light, recoilless, accurate, really fine sights and trigger.

But the FWB 65, a recoilless springer of the same era, is the last one I'd part with, not only super accurate but good power too. The one with the longer barrel and match grips is a bit older.

And in complete contrast, the other one I could never be without is the Webley Tempest / Hurricane - fun, compact, indestructible classics of elegantly simple design. These both have aftermarket grips.

Very nice grips on the Webleys! Are these grips available for purchase anywhere these days?

Thanks!

Both grip sets in the pic are Beeman accessories from about 30 years ago - no longer available. The sport grips on the Tempest are fairly common on the used market, and other skilled folks offer similar ones today. The adjustable-palmshelf match grips on the Hurricane are quite rare though. They were never big sellers (because match grips on a Webley are absurd!), but look cool and are fun to use.

I have farily small hands, and FWIW the stock plastic grips on these pistols, if less aesthetically thriling, are weirdly perfect for me. They fit comfortably and align the sights effortlessly.

I have a Webley Mk V1 and a Gletcher Nagant, both pellet, I like them both the only problem with the Nagant is spare shells seem to be unobtainable so lots of reloading shells, whereas I have 36 shells for the Webley.
I see you, cowboy! Those are my style as well! Sorry about the unobtainable shells.
