For Sale post without stated asking price?

Moderators, I have seen several posts made in the Buy/Sell/Trade section of AGN in which the product for sale is described but no asking price is given. In the instances I recall the OP generally asks for private messages or direct emails in which the buyer suggests a price. Is this a kosher practice on AGN, or are sale posts supposed (i.e. "required") to provide the sale price?

I have noticed that afew times also. If the seller is just fishing why don't they just go to the lake?

Flag it. Include a reason such as "no price listed". 

From the Classified rules,

3. Specify if the price is negotiable or not (eg: firm, flexible, trades)
4. Specify if shipping is included in the price

These two rules mean that a price is necessary.



Reminders to all: general commenting and member feedback is prohibited in the classifieds section. Only clarifying question about a deal or an item. Bumping = 7 DAYS before and between bumps.

I guess a good way to handle that would to offer a real low price. Not to insult anyone that does this but you know what you want out of the deal so put a price in writing. If your open to offers or dont know what its worth than state that clearly in the ad.
