For all the HW90 owners, what’s your experience with it?

See this thread.

Love mine, UTG Hunter Scope, Sportsmatch DAMPA mount, JSB 8.44 4.52mm (it likes large diameter pellets) chronied at average 1008 fps. Stacks pellets one on the other at 25 yds from a bench rest. Pressure set at 19 BAR. Takes two hands to cock. I have about three thousand pellets down range and no problems with scope holding POI. I have already taken three tree rats and a few starlings with it at about 35 to 40 yds in ranges. Consistently spins the small spinner on crosman 3 disk spinner target at 50 yds. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good break barrel rifle. Form and fit are excellent as would be expected from a quality Weihrauch product.

Pros: Interesting technology, lets you tune power level. Easier to disassemble than a springer, because you don't have to fight the spring. Very well made. Can deliver enough power to take advantage of .25 pellets and slugs, which adds to the interest factor.

Cons: It's heavy (over 9 lbs). It's expensive. I have not sorted out the accuracy issues. Mine came with significant barrel droop. You need to be fairly stout to cock it at the higher power levels. Maybe wear hearing protection.

Max power seems to be highly dependent on the piston seal. With the stock seal it's about 22 fpe. With the Vortek vacuseal, I got about 32 fpe.

It's my favorite gun at this time, although that may change later.

Wait what?!? 32 FPE? How is the shooting cycle? Does it recoil more?
