Follow up on Annie

as you know, I've just completed and regulator rebuild on Annie.

This impact has always had an initial shot or 2 that was basically uncontrollable. either low or hi. even after the warranty rebuild it was like that. for about a week it did control the fps adequately but it got continually worse.

as of now, a couple days after I rebuilt the regulator,(properly I feel)

I've fired about 600 rds. of mark 2's through her. I have the wheel set on 5 and the valve @ 3 1/2 . average of 870 fps. w max spread of 10. standard deviation of 2. there are no ups and downs. pinpoint accurate to 75 yds. I air to 230 bar with reg set on 130. I fire around 40 rounds on a fill. at that point she hits the reg floor. . when it hits the reg the poi drops 3 inches. there is no question your off the reg. but like I said,. pinpoint for 40 shots.

let you know after a couple 1000 rds. see if she'll stay. this gun was never this steady from day 1. although I over charged and blew the reg housing seal. the accuracy problems I was having , I believe, was all due to the rings and scours on the washer rod.. I don't know if the washers and rod weren't lubricated from the beginning. something caused this. I did have 12000 plus (I never counted) rounds through her . like I said, she always had a shot or 2 after refill that was not controllable. I feel she's nearly a perfect rifle now. shooting my pop up squirrel @ 130 yds. yesterday. hitting hard and rattling its cage.
