Folding stock adapter to fit the AAA Evol mini?

Following this one. I've tried the Law Tactical and it throws off the balance and increases LOP more than I liked. I wonder if there are some which do not offer buffer tube pass through which would work?
That was the one I was looking at too. Why stock do you have? I believe mine is coming with a magpul and might not be as effected with lop as say, a prs or prs lite stock.

I have the standard adjustable buffer tube stock on my current mini. Had to dig through some pictures and I had a UBR Gen2 stock the mini I had back in 2020.

Looking at the pictures now, maybe LOP wasn't really an issue. Could've just been the extra weight added. I looked it up and the adapter weighs 8.5oz.

It sounds like you don’t have it yet. I think when you put hands on it you won’t want to add a bunch of unnecessary weight to it. The beautify of that gun is in its simple, lightweight and robust design. If it were mine, I’d just do a magpul acs w/ the friction lock to address the rattling the MOE stock it comes with is known for.

I want to fold it to fit in my pack. That’s why I’m asking. If I wanted to have it in a case, I would, but my permissions are easier if I have it in a pack. Less people to scare on my way in.

Here's the parts that I used to make a folder on my Evol 30: Hera Arms "Side Folding Unit", DoubleStar "ACE 7-1/4" skeleton stock with buffer tube", and a "mil spec AR15 latch plate" with the raised dimple. The plate with the dimple is required to mate the Evol chassis and keep the stock from spinning. To keep the length of pull short, at the common 14" length, any short butt stock around 7-8"" is ideal, whether it is solid or retractable. Most solid AR stocks are longer than this.

To ease tuning, I drilled out the center of the SFU parts to get to the hammer spring adjustment. There's other folding units that are hollow and may allow the 5/16" hex wrench to fit into there with some additional modifications. All folder's are said to rattle some, but this one is pretty tight and I did place a piece of rubber on the frame to avoid marring it up when folded.
