focusing the reticle

OK my eyes are not so good , So when I focus on the white wall and try to focus the reticle It goes back and forth...

This is what I do , Take the gun in a dark area, out side better for some reason, turn the illumination on and adjust until the reticle is clear, Works for me 100% of the time..

I'm going to try this. I've been dealing with some inner ear issues for three months now & it has made adjusting diopters difficult due to intermittently blurry vision. 

For what it is worth, I've previously always had better luck focusing the reticle outside during the day than towards a bare wall.

I got mine perfect by watching the videos above, and waited for an overcast day while locked on a tripod.

I have had the best luck by turning the parallax wheel to infinity, look up into a blue sky, and adjusting the diopter until the reticle is crisp and clear. Doing it this way the reticle remains clear at all magnifications.

Thanks for the videos , I am always trying different thangs, Its always KISS in my book... Sometimes when you get on up there in age , Your eyes are not what they used to be I am just suggesting to try it if you have had problems with the Reticle Focusing. 

Twelve years ago if some said I would be putting a 500 dollar scope on a pellet gun , i would say yea when I am in a funny farm,,,,
