I solicited advice for foam cutting and got several recommendations, electric carving knife, sharp blade, hot knife. I went with an electric carving knife that was advertised as a good foam cutter, since I have other cases I want to make.
Apparently I'm an idiot because I had no idea these electric carving knives were double bladed. I thought it was a single blade, what day of school did I miss?
Anyway, it works great, the lines were cut perfectly smoothly which I would not have been able to do as cleanly with a knife. I recommend these.
