Pursuit of Accuracy is a good YouTube channel.
I thought I would share his Flyswatter challenge video.
Here is the link to print your own targets
I thought I would share his Flyswatter challenge video.
I did mine at 25 yards, and @Ogleorama shot his at 30 yards. The targets are so small, I don't think you could really do it all the way out to 50 yards. I would say to go with it, and shoot them at 15 because that is what you have, and the next time you are at the range, go out to at least 25 yards and see what the difference is. This is SCIENCE!!Can someone tell me if there's a standard range for this challenge?
I don't think the range matters but according to this article the range is 50 yards. This seems like fun. I have printed off a couple of targets.

I can shoot 15 yards at home and various ranges at my clubs.
Anyway I'll have a couple of goes at it this week and report back.
I’ll add rule #6: Everything must be on video including tape measured distance from firing line up to the target.I don't think the range matters but according to this article the range is 50 yards.View attachment 560751
Won't be following rule 6.I’ll add rule #6: Everything must be on video including tape measured distance from firing line up to the target.![]()

Too bad. That’s why challenges have to be documented so that what everyone posts are true and not just “hearsay”.Won't be following rule 6.
Not that important to me just seems a fun challenge to try.
Not expecting to impress anyone anyway.![]()
I agree but not everyone has that facility,or wants to spend the money to enable it. Even then it's not infallible and it's more by way of a personal challenge to me and an indication of my improvement or otherwise.Too bad. Anybody can just post pics and say “I shot this target at this distance” but actually the target was shot at a near distance.
I don’t think that any of us are heading to the Olympic Trials and I didn’t notice any major prize money announcedToo bad. That’s why challenges have to be documented so that what everyone posts are true and not just “hearsay”.

I don’t think that any of us are heading to the Olympic Trials and I didn’t notice any major prize money announced. We are just shooting these challenges for enjoyment and a bit of camaraderie. I would actually feel a bit sorry for anyone who would cheat just to get a few “at-a- boys” from fellow members. Trying to video myself would take some of the enjoyment away from the shooting; and frankly if my fellow members needed proof that I wasn’t cheating then I’d rather just “take by ball and go home“.
