Tuning Flashpup issues

I have a issue with my Hatsan Flashpup .25cal wood stock.

1.When cocking the rifle the bolt action doesn't lock anymore in the rear position when pulled back. It will just fling forward on its own if I don't hold onto the lever and fires the gun.

2. It doesn't want to cock all the time either, sometimes I have to pull the trigger first in order to do so.

I suspect it has something to do with the trigger mechanism? I did remove hammer spring etc and cleaned it up but it no changes.

Check in your manual, or the one online. If your trigger adjustment gets out of whack it can cause all sorts of odd behavior. Happened to mine when I first got it, but mine was firing, not when I pulled the trigger, but when I released it. Hope this helps. I love my Flashpup .22.
