What’s is the best inexpensive (sub $100) scope for a pump air rifle?

You didn't mention the power you wanted, but for just over your pricing ($114) you can get this UTG 10x44 with ETCHED glass reticle, side focus, illumination. I've had one for a while, and while 10x is on the lower side for me it is a fine scope for the $$.

FYI

I have the 10x44 ordered from Airgun Optics Plus. I was going to go with Amazon but found out the one Airgun Optics sells is a newer version that weighs 16.86 oz vs. 21 oz from Amazon. Cost $11 more, but well worth the price difference vs weight difference to me.

And you get a dependable warranty from a forum member, with Airgun Optics. Ordering from Amazon can be hit or miss regarding warranty. I went with Amazon because I had gift cards, but I know I'm taking a chance when it comes to warranty. Any future orders will be from Airgun Optics.

I would also recommend Discovery.
