Fixed Parallax Optics

Hey All

I have a new RAW TM1000 that I’m dying to use but the Nightforce scope I ordered won’t be here until the new year.

My home range goes from 10-100 Yards. 

While I do have a Leupold VXR 4-12x50 scope laying around, it is a fixed Parallax scope. I see a lot of people using fixed Parallax scopes on Airgun’s but I was wondering what everyone else’s opinion was. Any thoughts?

well if you used a fixed scope. your point of impact will be off any further or closer than the scope is set for.
your going to need a new scope with adjustable parallax to be spot on..
​and and do order your self a poly barrel with thimble. then that way you will be even more spot on when the time comes

you will be fine, just remember before every shot you must position your head/eye consistently into the optical axis/center of the scope ocular.

you will need an adjustable scope as your accuracy will not be at its best till you get one on there. alb

Move the front lens forward until the parallax is good at 30 -40 yards. I just took my 2-7 Bushnell pistol scope and moved the objective lens and now have it parallax free at 10 meters for my pellet pistol. First time I ever tried it, but I know a lot of shooters do it.
