I put a digital manometer on my FX imact and noticed it was fluctuating a little bit. Is that normal? Between shots it does not settle to an exact pressure in all I would say there is a 3-5bar difference between an empty tank and full and between shots about 2-3bar.

I sure would like to see PSI on these gauges. it would help my simple mind. What does the Chrony say. that's the ultimate aim (no pun intended). I notice that when I reset my Impact regulator( you know the system has to be empty before you adjust it) to 130 it crept up to 140 or even a little higher. I reset it again last night and am going to keep an eye on it. I also have a Wildcat that has had the regulator replace. I don't think these FX regulators are quite up to snuff. But I don't know much. The guys on the forum. suggest replacing with a HUMA. If I have more trouble that is what I am going to do.

It was pointed out to me by another knowledgeable member on here there are actually 2 regulators as the hammer and valve will also regulate. As with a non regulated gun.

This bring up another issue—poor quality gauges. I finally bit the bullet (pellet?), and bought special-made gauges from Wika (111.12.27 mm )—all $125 worth! They're Class 4, and worth the monies.
