If you have an old antique Shooting Chrony Alpha don't throw it away. Mines 16+ yrs old Red Shooting Chrony Alpha that was give me errors like crazy. So I decided to take it apart to clean it well. What I notice that the top lens had small scratches. I sand with 2000 grit and I super polish on both sides. I then clean the 2nd level lens and the senors and now no more errors it works perfect. I was going to throw it in the garbage but I'm glad I didn't because I save $$$$$.
