Fitting question

I took the fill whip off that threaded into my Omega compressor, because I incorporated a new air filter into my setup. I still want to use the whip for an extension coming out of the air filter. The problem is I took one of my 1/8 bspp quick disconnects off one of my fill probes, and it won’t screw on to the whip. I miced the threads which are.387 OD, and wonder if this is metric? I would like to get a male quick disconnect on this instead of buying an extension. Any ideas or direction would be grateful. Thanks Rick

everything is metric out of china ... its questionable you could buy a single fitting shipped for much less than you could get an entire made-up whip lol, but ... mic it and measure the read in mm then measure distance in mm between thread peaks to get the pitch .. theres sometimes several oddball pitches theyll use .5, 1, 1.5 etc ..so you'll need a female that to male foster? and likely some kind of gasket or oring so, be sure it comes with that ...
