First woodchuck this spring!!!

Met up with a couple buddies today to do some bird pesting at a farm in Battle Creek!

A good friend got a new permission at a huge dairy farm...not a lot of bird action today because it was pretty windy but we got a few...anyway we decided to do some target shooting out back in a valley out of the wind...just as I was zeroing in my Brocock XR sniper. 22 with some FX hybrids I caught some movement out of the corner of my eye !!! Sure enough furry vermin alert!

75 yards right in the Mellon...made the whole trip right there!!! Lol. Still a long way to go to catch last year's total of 36 but it's a start... James from Michigan

what speed are you shooting the FX hybrids?

Been tuning it for a couple weeks to find that sweet spot...I've got the reg set at 160 bar now and it hit its platue at 915fps with the hybrids...backed it down to 890 and its super quiet and just sipping air now!

10 shots is only a 5 fps spread...and printing half inch groups at 50 yards...the 20.3 Daystate Howlers shoot pretty well also but not like the hybrids!

...nice shot but it is still winter...

...what's the story on that Ford behind you...?!?...

...good composition in that photo...

Dude I know it's still freaking cold...lol. usually don't start seeing them until April.

The little valley we were shooting in is the farm grave yard...bunch of old crap piled up!

The plate on the front of that truck was from 1979!!! Lol. His hole was under it!

Nice job on the chuck. But I have you beat. Got one last Saturday and another today. Too bad they don’t count. Ya, got them with the truck! It was 29* this morning when he tried making it across the road. Must have been really hungry. Took a walk around the family farm yesterday but didn’t see any new diggings. Good luck beating last years record.
