First time PCP shooter goes Long!!

Met this guy (Fred) at the range today. He was shooting a magnum springer....has never shot a PCP.

I just finished up with the Impact and did not have my compressor, so I ran home and aired up the gun and came back to the range so he could shoot it. 

So he set up some spinners at 50 yards and I said "we could shoot those if you want but you're going to shoot at 200 yards with this." He had some serious doubts.

His first shots were at a 6" gong at 200 yards. He missed the first shot and drilled it on his second and thirds shots!

I then set up the scope for 300yds and he hit a steel pig with no problem. Here are some pics.

I bet all his friends were called as soon as he got home & they told him BS So you might plan on bringing that bottle with you next time , I'm sure he'll have some friends with him next time just to see it . Good for you for letting him try it out he'll have memories of that one . You might get Fred in trouble with his wife but after his friends hear all about it their going to think he's lost it .
