I expect there's a blonde joke here, but as I am blonde, I can't come up with one.
I'm thinking it's a hybrid of some sort.
In Wisconsin we have a mix and match squirrel population. I even have seen jet black squirrels a tad north of me.

Probably, it was sure big enough to be.
Interesting that the much smaller greys bullied it. I guess that's why I thought it was a red hybrid of some sort.

I'm at war with black and grey squirrels trying to invade and destroy my property, and have blasted at least 30+ squirrels out of my backyard this year alone, but I've never seen a blonde squirrel! Wow.
As far as the cannibal behaviour, yeah, they'll eat other squirrels. They're cannibal vermin.

They're all Grays. (White bellies)
Reds have white bellies too, but are half size.
Fox Squirrels have orange/yellow bellies.
But yeah, that first one is s biggun for sure.

it's on the list, and as soon as I pay off the loan for the ramen noodles I'm forced to eat since the rifle cost so much...
I have to save up for the cam and mount, and I really need a ddifferent scope as that one is off my other rifle.
