Getting my first PCP in a week or so. Legal to hunt in Pa now so I want to retire my 22lr. Lost some of a finger in July and it took long enough to open my RWS 24 from the early 90s. 

My grandson is 7 and loves shooting it with pop pop in the yard. He got his first bullseye the other day so we saved it. Had a time getting the hang of using sight. A little Tasco red dot really helped

Very nice! I can remember the first time I actually hit what I was aiming at (empty soft drink can) with my Daisy BB gun. That was 57 years ago. Today I have trouble remembering where I put my shoes.

A bullseye at seven! Your a great pop pop! What is the pcp you are going to be getting? Too bad about the finger, hopefully it heals up as well as possible.

A Bt 65. We are limited to 22 for squirrels in Pa but I want to smack raccoon at my chickens and ducks. If I coyote comes in the yard I let the neighbors complain and use 3.5" #4 buck. They dont seem lo like that much.

I already have a swedge press for my 45-120 Sharps. It loves 525 paper patched. So planning on swedging ammo for it.

Welcome aboard Steve! I'm also in Pa (Harrisburg area). The Pa Game Commission finally made the move in the right direction, at least on this topic. I'm hoping they soon allow for bigger calibers and larger game. 

Congrats on your first PCP. Everyone here is eager to help with questions - I've asked my share in the past few months and everyone has been great. Also keep an eye out for local meet ups and shoots on AGN. There was one in mid October in Shippensburg and we got to meet some really genuine and fantastic people. They did a great job organizing a really fun event.

That sounds like a great time. I work 12hr rotating shift so hard to find it happen on a weekend off but always gret for hunting to be off mid week. Hopefully they do that. I will get a 22 for now then a 30 or 357 for coyote, groundhogs and raccoon. I figure a Aif Force Texan will kill a hog with swadged slugs in 357.

Thanks for the welcoming. Conner is my buddy. Lived with me since he was born. We lost his daddy in July on 2017 so we raise him now.
