Fantastic way to christen your rifle! I’ve shot quite a few starlings that didn’t fly off with the rest of the flock. I call those the dumb ones. I just hope I’m not making the species smarter.

I had no idea you were getting a FX Impact, so congratulations to you. Now that I have watched Matt's video on the collaboration and development of slug liners with FX rifles and and others I'm ready to order my own Impact for some slug shooting heaven. Bill

FX is a great company to work with. But nearly 100% of the testing was already done by the time I got the slug liner. I just happened to have success with it in the initial stages of release.
Maybe I can get a hold of a 25 caliber barrel kit and slug liner to try since they are a hassle for the guys in SA to get.

With the power we are getting on the .22 I can just imagine what a .25 will do. I think with a .25 I won't need head shot the iguanas anymore

The angle you shot the photo of the Starling looks like it could bottom the shocks on the car. I want to see what that 22 can do to a woodchuck

Woodchucks should be coming out by now. If I get to the dairy farm property this weekend I might be able to find one.
