First PCP: BSA R10 SE and compressor. Anything else I need to consider?

The entrance on the PCP is too small and my Otis Pull through doesn't work (it does work in my TX200).

I'd appreciate if you guys could recommend me a product that would work.

Interesting. Your shroud is totally different than mine. Can you unscrew the shroud? To grip it, you may need the rubbery shelf liner found at your local big box stores.
I had the same issue with my AA S500. We used a very small diameter plastic straw to help get it past the baffles in the shroud. Hold on to the straw!! It can slip out of your fingers and into the shroud. You can put an o ring, piece of tape, etc around the outside of the straw to keep it from slipping all the way down into the gun.

As to your trigger, also interesting. Mine is metal. Know that on yours possibly, as you adjust to a lighter setting, you reach a point where the safety is defeated. Not really a problem for me as I shoot HFT with mine and only load it when I get ready to shoot it.

I can unscrew the shroud with no tools. But I can't separate the silencer from the shroud. There is a third piece (silencer adapter I believe) that was on the barrel the first time I took the shroud/silencer combo out. But now that piece seems to be attached to the shroud/silencer and every time I remove the shroud/silencer that piece is removed as well and doesn't stay on the barrel. I guess that fine since I'm planning to use the rifle as is (with both the shroud and silencer)

Regarding the trigger, it seems to me that only the shoe is plastic, which is fine.

yeah, I think the shroud is "permanently" attached to the silencer. I wouldn't try to remove it for fear of damaging. By removing the shroud/silencer assembly it should give you better access to the barrel to use your cleaning kit.

You're going to love that gun. I have a .22 R10SE and absolutely love it. I bought a Daystate Revere as well but I love my BSA so much that I am thinking of selling the Revere. BSA doesn't get much love on this sight as some consider it old tech, but it just plain works. I regularly take squirrels in my yard at 50 yards or more with mine and am planning a few minor modifications. I have a Huma regulator for it and may order a larger buddy bottle. I have 2 extra magazines for mine as well so that is nice for target shooting. I can load all 4 and when done I know it is time to refill with air and begin again. That adjustable butt is also nice to have as you can fit the gun perfectly to you.

Enjoy!!

So you probably want to get a foster fitting for the compressor. Cant tell from the pic but can you remove the adapter from the hose by moving the colar down? At first i thought the piece in the end might be an dead head but it looks threaded on the inside. Id call who ever you bought it from, it be suprised if it didnt come with a foster fitting.

Regardless, you'll nees to order a 1/8 bsp to foster fitting adapter for the BSA fill probe.

I have another question/concern.

Filling the gun after every 30 shots with the compressor was getting old. So I bough a Benjamin 90 CU 4500 PSI tank. To fill it, I connect the quick disconnect directly to the compressor. The issue is that I'm noticing that some water is getting into the tank.

Should I be worried and buy some sort of filter to put between the compressor and the tank?

I would get the better one That is a three stage filter. It has charcoal and I believe cotton and the The beads in it. Don’t know how to spell the name of the beads. That’s the type I ordered. It’s much longer than that one and comes with a separate hose also. Sorry but I don’t have a link. I bought mine off of eBay. It’s coming from China and is about halfway here .You can buy the same exact one in the United States but will cost you $40-$50 more.

I'll buy a better filter. For now I just ordered the cheaper one from Amazon and it will be delivered tomorrow.

I've already filled the tank twice without filter and have already filled the gun with the tank. Anything I can do about it?. Should I be worried about corrosion on the gun and the tank? At the same time many parts on the gun are brass and should not rust.

I use a hand pump And when I fill my guns I will Pump for a little while Especially when I feel the pump starting to warm up. Then I loosen up the bleed screw and you will see a little bit of moisture shoot out. Then take a little break and pump it up the rest of the way. I don’t know if other people do this or agree to it but I’ll put a couple drops of silicone chamber oil In my fill port on my gun about every six fills. It helps deal with corrosion inside the gun and also keep your seals from drying up. I even asked tech-support at Crossman and pyramid air and also an air gunsmith about that and they said it was fine but just don’t overdo it.
